About the Artist
Aristide Maillol (1861–1944) was a French sculptor and painter who spent the first half of his career making textiles and tapestries before turning almost exclusively to the human figure in bronze and stone. His sculptures are monumental without being aggressive. Women at rest, bodies that feel rooted and self-contained. He worked the same subject for decades, convinced that form and weight and stillness were enough. Matisse thought he was one of the great sculptors of the century. It is hard to argue.

Every print is made to order. When you place an order, your print goes into production. We do not keep inventory on hand. This is how we keep quality consistent and avoid the waste of mass production.

Orders ship within 4–6 business days. During high-volume periods (holidays, new releases), it may take a little longer. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your order leaves the facility.
